With little over a month to go until BETT 2012, bee-it will be bringing you all the latest news and previews on what to expect at the world’s leading event for educational technology.

Taking place from 11 – 14 January at Kensington Olympia in London, BETT is a free to attend exhibition dedicated to showcasing the best in UK and international educational technology products, resources and best practice. Held annually, BETT attracts more than 600 educational suppliers and around 30,000 visitors, bringing together the global teaching and learning community for four days of innovations and inspirations.

At BETT 2012, there will be a variety of features and events offering visitors the opportunity to develop their knowledge and get up-to-date on the latest in policy and best practice. They are:
  • Learn Live – This is an exciting programme of interactive, informal workshops and seminars taking place throughout the four days of BETT. At BETT 2012, bee-it will be the official Learn Live information point offering advice on which Learn Live seminars will be taking place, and where and when they are being held.

  • Education Leaders @ BETT – This conference runs alongside BETT 2012 to provide leaders in education with discussion opportunities and interactions with experts in their field.

  •  New Worlds of Learning – This is a central feature for BETT 2012 where Professor Stephen Heppel will be exploring New Worlds of Learning with a dynamic group of school children who will be sharing ideas and working with other students and teachers across the globe.

  • BETT Fringe – Fringe events are independently organised events happening during the BETT exhibition.

Alongside the special features and events listed above, visitors to BETT 2012 will have the opportunity to evaluate and purchase a comprehensive range of ICT products and services. From early years to universities, BETT serves as an important part of the annual knowledge-gathering process, coming at a time when establishments are planning and budgeting for the new school year.

What’s more, visitors to the bee-it stand (Stand P39) will be able to meet the bee-it team and take a guided tour of all the features bee-it has to offer. There will also be demonstrations of how bee-it’s new group-buying service for schools, The Hive, can help to kit out your school with great technology for less, as well as an exciting prize draw!
